Program of the Quebec experience
Eligibility as a graduate or prospective graduate The program of the Quebec experience (PEQ) is designed to meet the needs of the Québec job market. To be admitted to the program you must:
- Be at least 18 years.
- Intend to settle in Québec to hold a job;
- have conformed to the conditions on your stay as an international student;
- hold a Québec diploma eligible for the PEQ obtained after February 13, 2008, or expect to complete your study program within six months of the date on which you submit your application;
- Have an intermediate level knowledge of spoken French (listening and speaking);
- You do not hold a bursary hold with a return clause in your country, unless you have already fulfilled this condition;
- You don’t have started a new program of study in Quebec;
- Undertake to provide for your needs and, where applicable, those of your spouse or de facto spouse and dependent children included in your application, for a minimum period of three months from the date you obtain your permanent resident status
Québec diplomas eligible for the PEQ are:
- DEP – Diploma of Vocational Studies, involving 1,800 hours or more of study;
- DEP followed by an ASP totalling a minimum of 1,800Â hours;
- DEC – Diploma of College Studies, technical training;
- Bachelor’s degree, university undergraduate;
- Master’s degree, MBA;
- Doctorate.
Time of filing the application under the Program PEQ:
As a future graduate of Quebec, you may file your application for a certificate of selection of Quebec (CSQ) no earlier than six months before the date of completion of your pass certificate or diploma qualifying.
 Important:
 If you are abroad and you have a PEQ qualified degree obtained after February 13, 2008. You have no time limit to file your application for CSQ as a graduate of Quebec under the PEQ.
